Sarah and Chad
Sarah and Chad almost got hit by a train on their wedding day but the photos came out gorgeous. Enough said. ;)

Carrie and Tim Engagement
Carrie and Tim's engagement session started on a hot humid day that turned out to be just perfect. With Carrie's radiant smile and Tim's artistic eye, we ended up with some great engagement photos and we, luckily, didn't overheat. Locations included the railroad bridge at the waterfront, The George Washington Housefront, and NULU district.

This shoot was inspired by personal nostalgia. I was a teenager of the 90's and I'm getting to the age where I find myself looking back at my youth with great fondness and longing. This photo shoot took influence from all things 90s: grunge, angst, The Craft, My So-Called Life, etc. But mostly I wanted to focus on the intimacy of young female friends in their formative years and what it's like to find your place on the fringe. More photos will be added as they develop.

Carlisle/Brown Family Portraits
I grew up with the Carlisles and it is a pleasure to work with them, as always. They have a lot of fun and are up for getting cold and slushy in the snow. My toes almost froze off this weekend, but we sure got some great family portraits out of it. I filled up a whole 32GB flash drive! I will be updating more within the next few days... stay tuned.
Misty, Ryan, and Keegan (wedding on horses)
This wedding was short and sweet. It was a wet day, but God seemed to have blessed this family by clearing up the rain and letting them ride! The overcast day lent itself to some really cool black and white shots. What a unique idea and such a lovely family. They definitely embraced the Kentucky spirit! Special thanks to Scheffelridge Farm for the awesome venue.

I adore this family. So fun and easy to work with. I dragged them around to a bunch of locations and they just went with the flow. I was afraid we weren't going to get that autumn feeling since a lot of leaves had already fallen off the trees, but luckily we caught the last few yellow ones on camera! How gorgeous is this little family?

10/23/2012 shot in the Highlands of Louisville, KY.
This gorgeous couple had a backyard Jewish wedding that was anything but simple. The flowers were the color or fall leaves, and burlap, straw, and jars of candles set the mood for autumn. The reception was in the bride's parent's historic Louisville mansion which provided a down- home yet elegant vibe. These two were simply exuberant!
